Bass Strait ecosystem and offshore renewable energy workshop presentations (2025). National Environmental Science Program Marine and Coastal Hub. April.

May 2025

Overview

The Bass Strait ecosystem and offshore renewable energy workshop was held on 9-10 April 2025 at CSIRO Hobart and online as part of Marine and Coastal Hub Project 4.7: Development of regional modelling and risk assessments to inform offshore renewable decision-making. Workshop presenters outlined the range of activities in the Bass Strait region and described the status of ecosystem modelling being conducted through hub research to support the environmental assessment of an offshore wind industry in the region. The workshop outline for each day is provided below. The presentations are available at the following links as combined files for day one and day two of the workshop.
