Overview

This factsheet summarises 2025 drone-based seagrass monitoring within the Girringun TUMRA, assessing meadow condition at Lucinda, Cardwell and Meunga Creek. Results showed severe seagrass decline at Lucinda following major flooding, while Cardwell remained relatively stable and Meunga Creek supported extensive seagrass habitat and dugong feeding activity.
